Check In/Pickup Location Details

  • From Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station:
    Take the lift or escalator access between the station platforms and the Waverley Steps/Princes Street exit. From there, walk for about 100m. Turn right out of the exit passing the Balmoral Hotel. The cafe is located across the junction near the traffic lights.
    Transportation is by a 16 seater Mercedes-Benz mini-coach.

Restrictions

  • Children 5 years old and above can participate in this activity.

Additional Notes

  • Please arrive at your check-in location 15 minutes prior to the start time.
  • Meals are not included in the price.
  • Please note that the Inveraray Castle is only open from April to October while the Doune Castle is closed on 2 January 2019.
  • Children under 1.35 meters will be provided a booster seat. Please specify the child's height upon booking.
  • Storage facilities are available near the tour departure points.
  • Travelers with luggage that exceed the specified size and weight will not be allowed to join the tour.
  • Entrance to Doune Castle and Inveraray Castle is not included. You may pay directly on-site.

Doune Castle
Game of Thrones fans will be thrilled to set foot on the actual manor resided by the Starks. Standing in great condition 600 years after it was built, Doune Castle has served as a filming set of hits like Game of Thrones, Outlander and Monty Python movies.

Loch Lubnaig
Continue through Callander and cross the Highland Boundary Fault Line. See farmlands, mountains and forests pan by as you travel to Loch Lubnaig. Rest by the lakeside to take photos of the tree-dotted waters.

Kilchurn Castle
The tour winds its way through the tough knot of the mountains known as Breadalbane. From here, you will access the magnificent ruins of Kilchurn Castle on the edge of Loch Awe before proceeding to have lunch.

Inveraray Castle
Hop to the town of Inveraray where its famed castle and Loch Fyne await. Take time to explore the village, visiting sites like the Old Jail.

Loch Long and Loch Lomond
Drive the steep mountain-side roads known as the Arrochar Alps to the great viewpoint called "Rest and Be Thankful". You may do what the name suggests, or hike from Loch Long to Loch Lomond. Then, stop at the village of Luss to wander around quaint lakeside neighborhoods.
